Ukrainian startup Stock-Factory said the award at the international competition in Edinburgh

Eco-project Stock-Factory received an award in one of the special nominations — “the System of decision-making and Finance” is the largest contest of climate innovation ClimateLaunchpad. 2 November in Edinburgh along with two other Ukrainian eco-startups — TOKA and UGrid Technologies — he participated in the final pitching competition and received a prize of 5 thousand Euro for a victory in one of the thematic categories.

Stock-Factory — is a marketplace for the sale of “problematic” products, where they can be passed to charity or recycled. The project helps manufacturers to implement complex product (with minor marriage, from previous collections, with damaged packaging, or simply the remnants of raw materials after production), thus reducing the amount of garbage.

ClimateLaunchpad — international competition for green business ideas, in the final stage which is the third year in a row participating of the Ukrainian team. Last year Ukraine was represented at the contest startup Effa.

The main condition of participation in competition — an idea that saves the planet and generate profit. It can be proposals for energy efficiency, Agrosphere, power, transport, water use, renewable energy or other climate solutions.
