The SFS reported the decrease in throughput at a number of checkpoints on the border with Poland. It is reported that at the checkpoint “Yagodin-Dorohusk” to leave the Ukraine on 3 October accumulated 320 commercial vehicles, “Krakovets — korcheva” — 260, “Rava Ruska — hrebenne” — 120. The number of missed vehicles — 405, 230 and 281, respectively.
The press service of the SFS said that the situation at checkpoints on the border with the countries of the European community has deteriorated significantly during 2017-2018.
Waiting in the queue of the truck on the exit from Ukraine takes from one to three days.
The Department explained that the main reason for the formation of queues — failure to comply with the terms of the Agreement between Supervisory authorities of Ukraine and Poland “the system of preliminary notification about emergencies at checkpoints on the border of Ukraine and Poland”.
2008-2013 on the border with Poland passed through the checkpoints:
“Yagodin-Dorohusk” — 600 trucks;
“Krakovets — korcheva” — 400 trucks;
“Rava Ruska — hrebenne” — 150 trucks.
In 2017-2018, these items significantly reduced the norm of pass is up to 200, 120, 90 commercial vehicles.
This led to delays during the crossing of the customs border, according to the State fiscal service.
The Agency complained that he had repeatedly raised this issue during bilateral meetings with the Polish side, but to achieve positive results, they failed.
We will remind, in April-may 2018 civic organization “Europe without barriers” conducted a survey of 18 checkpoints on the borders between Ukraine and Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania. It turned out that most of the time it takes crossing checkpoint on the border with Poland — PP “Krakovets-Korchilava” (average 5 hours). In three checkpoints on the border with Poland: “Selnica-Krościenko”, “Yagodyn-Dorohusk”, “Hrushiv-Budomezh” crossing the border was less congested (average 2 hours).
