China’s ride-hailing giant, Didi Chuxing has suspended its carpool service, after police said a driver raped and killed a female passenger.
A company statement said the incident showed that there were shortcomings in the processes, and so it would expose its hook system for re-evaluation.
Authorities said the 20-year-old woman welcomed the journey on Friday in the Eastern city of Wenzhou.
A similar incident took place only a few months.
In may, the company stopped and Didi changed the problems, the couples car owners and passengers, after a 21-year-old flight attendant died after the use of the service in Zhengzhou.

The most recent incident, the police said, the woman climbed into the taxi at 13:00 local time (05:00 GMT), and notified a friend an hour later, before the loss of contact.
Authorities of the 27-year-old driver named Zhong, Saturday taken early on, to rape the well-known and killing his passenger, police said.
The body was recovered and the investigation is ongoing, the statement said.
Didi Chuxing said Zhong had no prior criminal record, but admitted there had been a previous complaint against him.

“The incident shows the many flaws with our customer-service processes,” Didi’s statement read that this “high cost”.
