BMW delay in the reminder, UK cars contributed with an electrical fault, the driver’s death, has found a study.

The German company died, only recalled cars in the UK, according to Narayan Gurung, when his car crashed into a tree, a broken BMW on Christmas 2016.

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has also been criticized for failing to press BMW for a recall.

There is insufficient evidence to conclude the death of corporate manslaughter, the found investigation.

To initiate “in spite of the recognition of this danger, the call DVSA failed, and the BMW AG and BMW UK failed a recall, after Mr. Gurung’s said death,” Surrey Assistant Coroner Anna Loxton.
