Sister Savchenko said that the members of the UN mission will visit Hope in jail

KIEV, April 25 — RIA Novosti. Member of the European Parliament, German politician Rebecca harms and representatives of the UN mission on human rights are going on Wednesday to visit the detention center in Kiev Verkhovna Rada Deputy of Ukraine Hope Savchenko, said her sister, Vera Savchenko.

“Yesterday I met Mrs. harms at her initiative. Also the meeting was attended by lawyers of Hope… Ms. harms gave out with Hope if it is non-public. What’s next? A closed process over Savchenko? Rebecca today at 10.00 (same as GMT) have to get to Hope in the remand prison of the SBU. Also today, after seven attempts were allowed to visit the Hope of the monitoring mission on human rights of the UN,” wrote Vera Savchenko on his page in Facebook.

According to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Nadezhda Savchenko was planning attacks in the Parliament building and the government quarter. She faces from five years imprisonment to life sentence. A court in Kiev 23 March arrested a Deputy for two months. In court she stated that she declared a hunger strike. The Kyiv court of appeals confirmed the first instance decision about the arrest Savchenko for two months, until 20 may.

Savchenko March 22, 2016, was convicted in Russia for 22 years for his involvement in the murder of journalists in the Donbass. The court found that on 17 June 2014, it had adjusted the artillery fire on a group of Lugansk militias and Russian journalists, which killed employees VGTRK Igor Korneluk and Anton Voloshin. At the end of may 2016 Savchenko was pardoned by the President of the Russian Federation, after which he returned home. Upon her return, she stated that it was ready to be President if the people support it.
