Uzbek border guards shot dead a Kyrgyz citizen

BISHKEK, 7 APR – RIA Novosti. The border guards of Uzbekistan opened fire on a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, which was located on the territory of the country, resulting in the man died, the press service of the state border service of Kyrgyzstan.

“The seventh of April in the town of Mamaia, Aksy district, Jalal-Abad region of the Kyrgyz Republic the military personnel of the Republic of Uzbekistan has used weapons against the citizen of Kyrgyzstan — the inhabitant of the village Kurulush F. M., born in 1984, which was located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. From the received wounds F. M. died in a hospital in Kerben”, — reports a press-service.

The press service noted that on this fact there is begun investigation on the incident has a group of officers of management of HCC and representatives of law enforcement agencies. Currently there is a meeting of border representatives of the two countries with the aim of clarifying the causes and circumstances of the incident.

On Saturday, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov instructed the relevant departments “to conduct a thorough investigation of the incident on the border in cooperation with the Uzbek side”.
