Mnuchin: the United States and China have set a trade war “on pause”

Washington and Beijing have agreed to suspend the increased duties on working on a broad trade agreement

Trade war US-China “paused” after the two largest economies in the world agreed to abandon mutual threats of raising taxes on the working on the wider trade agreement. This was announced on Sunday by Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin.

Mnuchin and a top economic adviser to trump Larry Kudlow said that the agreement reached by the representatives of China and the United States on Saturday, provides the basis for solving problems of imbalances in trade in the future.
