Beano toasted Meghan and Harry’s wedding

You never know that he is missing the fun, Beano is the addition of your own for the Royal Wedding celebrations with a special and satire of the strip.

This week’s comic is going to see the chaos ensues on the wedding reception, to which the characters Dennis, Gnasher and The Bash Street Kids have blagged an invitation.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the cake is in ruins, while other jokes include the Queen wore a dress from Primark.

The Real Beano Rumble strip edition is available for purchase in stores and online.

“Our invitation of a member of the fan club, Harry – it must have been eaten by Gnasher,” joked Beano editor Mike Sterling.

“So we decided to immortalize the couple’s upcoming nuptials in Beano instead. We are confident that the Royal Family appreciates the honor of us celebrating his entertaining mannerisms.

“We hope that the Royal couple enjoy their big day and that the Queen did not throw us in the Tower for our “unique” wedding gift.”

Other Beano characters appear in the strip of Minnie the Minx, who tries to trick a newly-married couple she is the daughter of them are destined to have.

The run-time comic has already submitted to the members of the Royal Family to celebrate special occasions.

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, were given a comic strip makeover with the occasion of the inauguration of the new DC Thomson press, where the Beano is printed.

Other famous faces that have appeared in the comic book are Simon Cowell, Andy Murray, Olympian Jessica Ennis and A Direction.

The children’s comic, first published by DC Thomson in July 1938, is still printed weekly in Dundee and its creators have said that this year celebrates his 80th birthday in true Beano style – but not yet to reveal any detail.

Special editions of comic books have become sought-after items, with the sale of some thousands of pounds, especially for collectors.
