Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky spoke to reporters after the defeat by Japan in the control sparring (2:1).
“Played well today, controlled the ball. Moreover, achieved a positive result, and this is important. Better played than the previous match – another positive point. And so, had a good camp, which is important to us. There is a positive result.
Always a pleasure to play the first number, especially when we confidently controlled the ball. Tonight’s field was not the best quality. If the pitch was better, maybe had more chances,” said Malinowski after the match.
Earlier it was reported that Andriy Yarmolenko went to the locker room to congratulate the players on the victory after the game against Japan.
