In Kiev, measles sickened seven cadets

Seven cadets of the Institute of penal service found signs of measles, four of them hospitalized. About it reports a press-service of the Institute of criminal Executive service.

The first case recorded on March 24, when students were treated at the place of residence outside Kiev region, was hospitalized with a preliminary diagnosis of measles.

After this incident, the Institute has carried out a series of sanitary-epidemiological and preventive measures aimed at preventing the spread of infectious diseases. Carried out sanitation of the room, where the sick student and all areas in which it could be.

For the cadets compiled a separate schedule of supply, a separate route to the place of accommodation, measures to avoid contact with other students, etc.

“It is important to note that 100% of the AC staff of the Institute vaccinated twice against measles. All patients received qualified medical assistance, four of them hospitalized in medical institutions, the other three having a mild form of the disease, undergo outpatient treatment under medical supervision at the place of residence”, – said in the Institute.

Cadets contacted patients daily visiting nurses. No sick student on campus is not.

Earlier in Irpen Central city hospital delivered seven soldiers of the national guard suspected measles and six with suspected chicken pox.
