Ekaterinburg. April 4. INTERFAX – Children’s column, with the participation of the Palestinian scouts and Ural drummers will lead the Easter procession in Yekaterinburg, which will take place on 8 April, the press service of the Yekaterinburg diocese.
It is noted that for the first time children were at the head of the Easter procession last year.
Also as part of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Nicholas II and the year of the 100th anniversary of the execution of the Royal family, the procession will carry banners with the portrait of the last Russian Tsar.
The parade will be held from Holy Trinity Cathedral to the Temple-on-Blood.
In addition, on Easter night, the delegation of the Yekaterinburg diocese will bring fertile fire from Jerusalem. It will be delivered to Holy Trinity Cathedral.
