Saudi Arabia is approaching Typhoon jet agreement with BAE

Saudi Arabia has moved closer to an agreement for the purchase of 48 Typhoon hunting, UK aerospace giant BAE Systems has said.

A memorandum of understanding, the agreement was signed after Saudi arabia’s crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met the Secretary of Defence, Gavin Williamson.

BAE has said that the signing was “a positive step towards accepting a contract for our partners.”

Downing Street has said a target of £65bn worth of trade and investment had been agreed upon during the Prince of the UNITED kingdom visit.
