The Ministry for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons (Minot) told me how much humanitarian aid and which were received by citizens living in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. This was at the briefing on Wednesday, January 24, said Deputy head of Department Georgy Tuka, reports 112.ua.

According to information Swiss Agency for development and cooperation provided in 2016-2017 720 tons of humanitarian aid, as well as a laboratory for early detection of tuberculosis among the population.

The Swiss Confederation sent 1 thousand 635 tons of chemical reagents for water purification, medical equipment, lab for early detection of tuberculosis disease in the population.

Belarus sent 4 trucks of humanitarian cargo weighing 59 tons, food, personal care products. Lithuania gave 40 thousand euros to the International Committee of the red cross, 38 thousand euros for the implementation of the project “Capital repair of in outpatient clinics”, 2 thousand Euro for the project “Melody of water”.

800 patients have received from UNICEF medicines for continuous treatment of HIV infection, 500 patients from the ICF “Alliance for public health” – TB drugs II series and 210 thousand vials of insulin “Red Cross” delivered in medical institutions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Earlier it was reported that the world food programme (WFP), the UN continues its work in the Donbass. It is known that from November 2014 until June 2017, the programme has delivered food assistance to about 970 thousand people, located in the zone of conflict escalation.
