Canadian cannabis growers heads to Europe

To sell a Canadian marijuana-maker-set of cannabis in some European countries, after striking a deal with Denmark’s largest tomato producer.

Aurora Cannabis is the partnership with Alfred Pedersen & Son to produce cannabis for medical use in Europe.

The greenhouses can be converted for tomatoes to grow the drug, since both plants have similar growth needs.

The joint venture will focus on the sale of cannabis in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland

Aurora Nordic Cannabis builds a place of production, the production of up to 120,000 kg of cannabis a year, said Aurora.

The announcement sent the shares rising listed Australian cannabis producers, with Cann-group, AusCann group and VR Australia, rising more than 20% to new record values.

Uruguay, Canada and the Netherlands, the export of legalized medical marijuana, while Israel plans to follow later this year.
