About this Volodymyr Groysman said during the thematic meeting with the participation of the Ministry of internal Affairs, the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine, State Agency of automobile roads.

He stressed that improving the quality of the roads increases the number of cases of speeding and violating other traffic rules.

“This year we have quite ambitious plans on road construction this year, but if we look at the statistics of deaths on the roads… This suggests that we need to fight (with violators of traffic rules) not only fines, but also to create a system of safety”, – said Groisman.

According to him, the relevant program has been developed, it is designed for three years. Under the program, the design, construction and commissioning of roads should take into account the wishes regarding security.
