Woman fights for life after being set on fire

The 22-year-old has suffered burns to almost all of his body after the incident of Cranbourne, in the south-east of the city, at about 6.30 pm.

The woman alienated partner, 29 years old, is to talk with the police, but no charges have been filed. The woman’s injuries are so serious the Homicide Squad is understood to be ready to join in the investigation. She has had skin grafts to the head, back, and shoulders.

Four children reportedly witnessed the fire that consumed the woman.

The wife of the neighbor, Daniel McCreedy, said that he heard screams and smelled smoke and gasoline.

Jerry can was found at the scene.

His partner helped the injured woman.

“After I got out, I noticed that there was a canister on the back which was on fire,” Mr. McCreedy told the Seven Network.

They helped the woman outside of the bathroom while the emergency services rushed to the scene.

He is of the opinion that the woman who lives with her step-family and a one-year-old child.

“They are a pretty quiet bunch. You never really hear the noise or hear any disturbances,” a neighbor told Channel 9.
