Reese Witherspoon and ‘extra leg’

Reese Witherspoon has asked fans to accept it for what it is – after Vanity Fair has revealed its latest cover to have a secret third leg.

She is one of the 12 stars of the cinema, photographed by Annie Leibovitz for the magazine’s Hollywood issue, which is published every year during awards season.

Vanity Fair has said that the appearance of Witherspoon’s third stage was, in fact, “the lining of her dress”.

In every way, the actress was not the only one to be given an extra appendix.

In another image, which has now been removed by Vanity Fair, web site, Oprah seems to have a third hand.

The two stars had a sense of humor about it.

Vanity Fair tried to make a joke of it too – wondering how Oprah could be expected to juggle everything (if not, apparently, a presidential bid) – with only two hands.

Meanwhile, James Franco has been removed digitally from the issue after it was originally photographed by annie Leibovitz and interviewed by the magazine.

After that Franco has been accused of sexual misconduct or inappropriate behaviour by five women, including students of his acting school.

A spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter: “We have taken a decision not to include James Franco on the Hollywood cover once we learned of the misconduct allegations against him.”

No reshoot was necessary, because the ones chosen for the cover are photographed separately or in small groups.
