Paramount

The Razzies -which reward the worst films of Hollywood have dubbed the year 2017 bin.

According to organizers, 87 of the top-earning 100 films of the past year were “sequels, remakes or rip-offs”.

As expected, many of them are nominated for the Razzies, with the last of the Transformers from the nominated film in every category except worst actress.

Making fun of Hollywood of the dependence of franchises, the film is listed as “Transformers XVII” in the nominations.

It is, in fact, the fifth installment of the robot based on the action series.

Among its nine nominations include worst actor for Mark Wahlberg, worst director, Michael Bay, and worst picture.

The other contenders for the worst of the film are the Watchmen of the beach, Fifty Shades Darker, The Mummy and The Emoji of the Film.

Universal

Efron starred in Baywatch, she was also nominated for worst screenplay; while Lawrence the role of the division of horror /satire of the Mother! won the film its only nomination.

Perhaps the most memorable of the category for worst screen combo, where Transformers XVII is nominated for “any combination of two humans, two robots, or two explosions”.

Also cited in that category is the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (dubbed “Dead Careers tell the Stories” by the Razzies) to “Johnny Depp and his worn-out drunk routine”.

Fifty Shades Darker of the worst combination is “any combination of two characters, two sex toy or two sexual positions”.

Sony

Previous Oscar nominees Tom Cruise and Jonny Depp also received the worst actor nomination, along with Jamie Dornan.

Emma Watson, Katherine Heigl and Dakota Johnson will battle it out for worst actress, for her role in The Circle, Unforgettable and Fifty Shades Darker.

The transformers is one of the most reviled franchises in the Razzies’ history, who received a worst picture nomination for each segment, except the first one.

Has won once, for the year 2009 Revenge of the Fallen. In the same year, Sandra Bullock picked up a worst actress for the comedy All About Steve, a day before winning an Oscar for The Blind Side.

The stars took the prize in good humor, who attended the ceremony in person and to delivery of copies of All About Steve to the audience.

This year’s ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 3, a day before the Oscars, where the winners will receive the “tackiest Tinsel Town trophy”.
