The Russian team was planning to use doping during the 2018 world Cup – media

The Russian team was planning to use doping during the home world Cup 2018, says the Daily Mail , citing sources close to the former head of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory Gregory Rodchenkov.

It is reported that the Russian side was going to replace the urine samples of players during the tournament so they can have impunity to use prohibited substances.

FIFA plans to investigate the matter and to communicate with Rodchenkova in the near future.

Earlier it was reported that FIFA suspects the players of doping.
