Detroit auto show: Cars of the future

A new range of concept cars has been submitted to the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Concept cars are visions of how the future of the automotive industry, it may seem, despite the fact that some experts say that there are few models of what is expected.

That could be because this type of vehicles are time-consuming and expensive to make, especially taking into account that some will never reach the production line.

Digital panels, green energy and autonomous features were major issues.

Chinese manufacturer GAC unveiled The Enverge that is built on GAC’s new electric vehicle (EV) platform and is powered by a 71kWh battery that gives the small crossover from a range of over 370 miles.
