The Kremlin began the search for the best mentors

First Deputy head of the presidential administration of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko presented the competition “Best practices in mentoring”. Acceptance of applications began on Tuesday, January 16, reports TASS.

“No knowledge and skills are not transferred only from person to person. And every successful person in any field there is always a teacher, always a mentor,” — said Kiriyenko. In his view, the mentoring system was very well developed in the Soviet years.

In turn, Director General of the Agency for strategic initiatives (ASI) Svetlana Cumshewa added that the competition will be held in five categories: mentoring in the workplace, in business and entrepreneurship in the social sphere, as well as mentoring in education. Provided a separate category of “Children teach children” where teachers are the children.

In addition, in the competition announced two additional nomination “teacher of the year” and “Manager of the year” for Directors of companies, which employ more than 5 thousand employees, said the head of the ASI.

The winners of the contest will be held on February 14. For the first place provides for a monetary prize in the amount of 300 thousand rubles for second place — 200 thousand, and for the third — 100 thousand.
