In the Kherson region of measles fell ill two adults, six suspected disease. This was reported in the Kherson regional laboratory center of the Ministry of health of Ukraine.
“Confirmed two cases of adult residents of Kherson (37 and 41 years), whose data on vaccination against measles do not exist. Also suspected measles in another six patients, two of whom are not vaccinated,” the statement reads.

Doctors emphasize that the only reliable way to protect against measles (for children and for adults) – vaccination. It does not protect against the virus 100%, however, significantly reduces the possibility of infection and mitigates the course of the disease.
