The United States will continue to investigate “attacks on health” diplomats in Cuba

The Secretary of state Tillerson intends to establish a special Commission

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson is going to form a Commission to establish responsibility for the investigation of attacks on the 24 employees of the diplomatic mission in Cuba, said Tuesday at the state Department.

During Senate hearings on these attacks, senators from both parties criticized the state Department for weak and incorrect reactions to the attack, which Tillerson called intentional.

As a result of the attacks, American diplomats and other Embassy staff in Havana complained of symptoms such as hearing loss, dizziness, headaches and fatigue.

Cuban authorities deny any involvement in these attacks.

After the incidents, the United States recalled a number of diplomats and their relatives from Cuba and sent 15 employees of the Cuban Embassy in Washington.
