FIFA suspects 19 players acting in the championship of Russia between 2012 and 2013 in doping. The Federation made a request to RUSADA and is waiting for information about the doping test of players.
At the moment, don’t know all the names of the suspects, but the list includes players of CSKA’s Mario Fernandes, Sergei Ignashevich, Sergey chepchugov and Japanese Keisuke Honda, while the latter two will not appear in the part of the Moscow team. Also under suspicion are the Krasnodar defender Roman Shishkin and midfielder Petr Nemov and Blagoy Georgiev.
Thus, the defender of CSKA and Russian national team Ignashevich for the second time in his career is suspected of using banned substances.
At the moment it is not known what kind of indicators doping tests of players seemed suspicious of FIFA. The most amazing thing is that RUSADA was not more than half of the requested sample players, despite the rule about a 10-year shelf life.
We will remind, Russia is experiencing a doping crisis, in which the team was admitted to the Olympic games in 2018 only under a neutral flag.
