In the Parliament spoke about the “enormous risks” of traveling to Russia

MOSCOW, 5 Jan — RIA Novosti. Verkhovna Rada Deputy from “Freedoms” Andrey Ilyenko called for the introduction of a visa regime with Russia. He told about it on air of TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

The legislator stressed that any trip to Russia for Ukrainians carries “enormous risks”.

According to Ilyenko, the authorities have brought the situation in the country to the fact that “many people are forced to look for work”. However, he added, must understand that to drive in Russia is dangerous “for each person that crosses the border.”

Earlier similar statement was made by Ukrainian foreign Ministry, describing a trip to Russia a “one way ticket”.

Meanwhile, the citizens of Ukraine come to Russia more often. According to the Ministry of economic development and trade of the country, the flow of “Ukrainian tourists” in the first half of 2017 increased by 56% (more than 2.6 million against 1.7 million for the same period last year).

Ukrainian media have also noted an increase in the number of bus services between the two countries. Among the reasons for this phenomenon — the growth of labor migration to Russia caused by the economic crisis and the conflict in the Donbass. To get to Russia, Ukrainians also use trains, despite rising prices.

Thus in Kiev regularly, there are calls to tighten the rules of crossing the border between Russia and Ukraine, it is proposed, in particular, to enter between the countries of the visa regime. Moscow, commenting on these remarks, stressed that the visa issues will be based on the principle of reciprocity.
