The white house supported the protesters in Iran

WASHINGTON, 1 Jul — RIA Novosti. The white house officially supported the protesters in Iran.

“We support the right of Iranian people to the peaceful expression of their opinions. His voice needs to be heard. We call on all parties to protect this fundamental right to peaceful expression and to avoid any action that helps to censorship”, — said the press Secretary of the White house Sarah Sanders.

Earlier support came to the rally expressed via Twitter, the President of the United States Donald trump. He, in particular, condemned the “disable Internet” amid protests in the Islamic Republic.

On Thursday in Mashhad held a rally against the government, which was attended by about 200 people. Demonstrators dissatisfied with the economic situation in the country, they chanted anti-government slogans. Police arrested 52 people for participation in unauthorized actions and the destruction of state property.

The protest movement spread to other cities of the country. As stated on Sunday, the mayor of Tehran, Mohammad Ali Najafi, the unrest was minor damage to municipal property and bus stops, the traffic in some parts of the city was difficult. Iranian authorities reported that in the city of Darude two people were killed, noting that “security forces did not open fire on protesters”.
