The moss is committed Tesla pick-up ‘game-changing’ new features

Tesla boss Elon Musk, has confirmed the company has plans to develop an electric pick-up truck, and has hinted that it will include a “gamechanging”.

Musk made the promise during a confrontation with his Twitter followers after asking them how the company could further improve its products. A user has requested a pickup, electric, pushing Moss to respond: “I promise that we will do a pick-up truck right after the Model of Y.”

The Model Y is a compact crossover based on the Model 3, and is set to go on sale in 2019 or 2020. The company has already released images hinting at its design.

After the launch of the Model Y, Tesla had already announced the plans for the pick-up, electric, cargo van and minibus – all probably based on the platform of the Model X SUV. Tesla is also developing a new Roadster and a Semi truck.

During his Twitter session, Musk also said that the infotainment system browser in the Tesla cars would be upgraded in 2018, assuming the current version has been “terrible”. He added that the company intends to put a major focus on sustainable energy production, but that Tesla “primary” focused on the production of the Model 3 – the company has fallen substantially behind the planned deliveries of the model in the last few months.
