Published a conciliatory letter to Saakashvili Poroshenko

KYIV, 19 Jul — RIA Novosti. Mikheil Saakashvili in a letter to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has promised not to destabilize the situation in the country and proposed talks, said the press Secretary of the Ukrainian leader Svyatoslav Tsegolko in Facebook.

“As evidenced by the storm of the International center of culture and arts (October Palace. — Approx. ed.) in the alley of Heroes heavenly hundreds, your words Mr. Saakashvili did not keep. Considering the numerous requests of journalists and Saakashvili himself, in which he manipulates the contents of this letter, decided to publish,” wrote Tsigalko.

He also had to record a photo of the letter in Russian with spelling and punctuation errors. In particular, in the text there are the words “nesmotrja”, “dipole”, “oshybok and deaccelerate”.

“Of course I have made and will make many political oshybok but now more than ever convinced that it is necessary to deescalate and to prevent destabilization of the situation. Ready at any time to meet the representative and talk it over,” — said, in particular, in a published letter (spelling and punctuation preserved).

Saakashvili’s supporters after Sunday’s rally in Kiev tried to storm the October Palace, where the concert was held. In the building clashed with the security forces. Later after the call policy most of the demonstrators left the Palace and went to the Parliament building. They said that what happened was the result of provocation. The police initiated three criminal cases. During clashes injured 60 employees of the national guard, 15 of them were hospitalized.

Earlier media reported that Saakashvili gave Poroshenko a letter with the offer of reconciliation. Later ex-Governor of Odessa region declared that really sent the Ukrainian President a message.
