Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley says always famous made you delete your social media.
The 25-year-old, who stars as Rey in Star Wars: The last Jedi, quit Instagram earlier this year.
In an interview with Radio Times, she says she did it because of how bad it is for mental health.
Ridley says: “the more I read about teenage Angst, the more I think it is very unhealthy for the mental health of the population.”
She adds: “It is so consider a strange thing for young people to distorted images of the things you should be.”
Ridley’s great breakthrough came in 2014, when she was cast in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Before, she only had minor roles in casualty and Mr Selfridge.
She says her “life suddenly got a bit different”, after he played a role in the Science-Fiction movie franchise.
“I’m definitely more recognized, but I find the whole pictures, what is funny,” she says.
“I would prefer to ask a conversation with someone, for a picture, but I think people feel to prove the need, they had the interaction on social media.”
Ridley deleted their social media-in September, the follows are deleted from stars such as Adele, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, have all their accounts in the past, after he was overwhelmed by the online world.
