Officer of the military unit in the village for violations of the rules of admission of foreign stores the day of the fire, was fined 2,5 thousand UAH

Officer of the military unit in Kalinovka was fined 2465 UAH for the improper performance of their duties that could result in a fire at an ammunition depot in September of this year. This is stated in the report of the military Prosecutor of the Central region of Ukraine.

It is noted that the officer allowed them to pass to other people on the part of the territory where ammunition was stored.

“It is established that a specified senior officer, being a military service person, violating statutory requirements, 26 Sep 2017 improperly performed its duties to monitor the status of the permit regime, the compliance of the tolerance of personnel and equipment for administrative-economic and technical areas specified military unit, with the result that employees in the private enterprises, in particular, moved forbidden flammable substances and flammable items on the technical territory of the military unit, where was kept the ammunition for tank guns”, – stated in the message.

On November 9, he was the administrative Protocol under part 2 of article 172-15 Article “Negligent attitude to military service”, and the next day the court decided to bring him to administrative liability with a fine in the amount of UAH 2465.

Recall, September 26 at the ammunition depot in Kalynivka, Vinnytsia region there was a fire, entailing a series of massive explosions. Fragments of shells flew into the homes of residents of settlements located around. The result was injured two women. Because of the emergency from the danger zone were evacuated about 30 thousand local residents.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the meeting of the war Cabinet said that the fire at military depots in Ukraine – this is a trend that is a threat to national security. Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that the demining of the area near Kalinovka will last until the end of November.

According to Goschs, the explosions ceased only on October 3.
