Boxing: I always go out to win – Lomachenko

Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko spoke about the upcoming match against Guilherme Rigondeaux, according to Fight Hub TV.

“Never regard their opponents as 50 to 50. I always go out to win, so confident in his victory 100%. My advantage to keep a high tempo throughout the fight, only then will be able to put him in checkmate. For me it was a surprise – consent Rigondeaux to fight, because for two years there were only talks. He said he wants to, but doesn’t want to be, but will not, come up with different excuses. When I called and said that he signed the contract, I didn’t at first.

I wanted the unification in categories: 126 lbs (up to 57,153 kg), but we all know why this has not happened. Because nobody wanted to do that. Now 130 (up to 58,967 kg) the same situation. I don’t think I’m the best fighter regardless of weight class. I believe that I am in the top 10, but not yet in the first place,” said Lomachenko.

Recall, the fight between Lomachenko and Rigondeaux will be held in the night from Saturday to Sunday in new York.
