The police found no crime in the actions of groups of individuals, who on Sunday blocked the building of the TV channel NewsOne. About this in comments to “Interfax-Ukraine” said the Director of the Department of communication, Ministry of internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko.
According to Shevchenko, the police did not find grounds to investigate the incident because the actions of the parties to the lock was not discovered any violations.
“The statement was registered in the unified register of statements and reports, and then the police examined the scene and came to the conclusion that the facts of the offenses are not, and hence, the reason to make EGR on any article there,” he said.
Shevchenko added that the police continue to monitor the situation in front of the channel, providing order and security.
As previously reported, on Sunday evening, December 3, a group of persons blocked the entrances and exits to the building where the channel NewsOne.
Blockers said that came to the channel after the statements of the owner Evgeniy murayev of independence in the program “Ukrainian format”. In the broadcast he called the Revolution of dignity “coup d’etat”.
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov demanded from the participants of the lock to stop it, threatening to take appropriate measures.
