In the Russian Orthodox Church a growing number of old-belief parishes

Moscow. 29 Nov. INTERFAX – Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill pointed to the growth of the old believer parishes in the Russian Church.

“A special place in the Church’s life belongs staroobryadtsy parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church, whose number is gradually increasing as the frequency of the Episcopal Ministry in them ancient chin”, – quotes the words of the Patriarch on Wednesday, the official website of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The Primate announced that the development of the Patriarchal center of old Russian liturgical tradition, contributing to improving the training of clergymen and clergymen of the old-belief parishes: there are circles for the study of Znamenny chant and the Charter, trained clergy, with the participation of other large parishes of the published educational and scientific literature, and prayer books for practical use.
