The arrested ex-leader of local “Right sector” Sternenko made bail

The head of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov made a pledge in the amount of 600 thousand UAH for the former leader of local “Right sector” Sergey Sternenko, participated in protests in the city garden of Odessa. About Stepanov reported to Facebook and published a photocopy of the receipt.

“This is my human reaction to injustice. 600 thousand UAH Deposit for the one who rushed to the police, and 128 thousand UAH of a Deposit in order to blame for the ruined lives of the children in the camp “Victoria”, wrote Stepanov.

He added that he does not support radical forms of protest to peaceful protest, and noted that he considers the police as a guarantor of security and strongly disagree with the criticism of law enforcement in the situation around the Summer theatre in Odessa City garden.

“Numerous police presence thwarted plans to start the rally in the city garden “aunts” and to massacre the defenders of the Summer theatre”, – he wrote.

As previously reported, the seaside court of Odessa, was arrested for two months of the former leader of the Odessa cell “Right sector” Sergey Sternenko on charges of participation in mass riots in the city garden on November 18.

Recall, November 18, rally against the construction of high-rise buildings in the city garden of Odessa turned into a brawl with the police. Protesters burned flares, used tear gas. The head of the regional police Dmitry Golovin broke his head. As a result of mass riots affected more than 20 police officers.
