In Serbia, called for recognition of Crimea as part of Russia

MOSCOW, 15 Nov — RIA Novosti. Serbian politicians have expressed a desire to recognize the Russian Crimea. This was stated by the Deputy of the Serbian Parliament Alexander Seselj edition of “Izvestia”.

In the Serbian radical party has prepared for the upcoming session of the national Assembly a statement in which they intend to emphasize the difference between the reunification of the Crimea with Russia and a violent separation of Kosovo.

“Belgrade cannot expect the support of Moscow on the disputed territorial issues, if he does not recognize the territorial integrity of Russia. Therefore, our party calls on the government to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and to recognize the reunification of Crimea with Russia,” said Seselj.

In addition, the newspaper, citing sources in the Serbian government said that Belgrade will not be easy to decide on the Crimean question in connection with the intention of Serbia to join the EU, but also because of the Kosovo problem.

Crimea became a Russian region on the basis of a referendum held after a coup in Ukraine. For reunification with Russia voted 96,77% of voters of the Republic of Crimea and 95.6 percent of Sevastopol.
