GPU and Netpolice conduct searches on the case of corruption in “Ukrzaliznytsya”, – Omeljan

The Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine and Netpolice Thursday, November 16, conduct searches on the case of corruption in the “Ukrzaliznytsia”. About this on his page in Facebook wrote the Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelian.

According to the Omelyan, both are about 50 searches in six regions of Ukraine.

“Today the Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine together with the National police holds about 50 searches in six regions of Ukraine in the case of abuse in especially large sizes and the criminal conspiracy of corruption proceeds. Suspected citizens Dubnevichi, Mikhalchuk, Kostyuk and another fun hop-the company”, – he wrote.

As previously reported, in November the Kyiv Prosecutor’s office sent to court indictment against two officials of “Ukrzaliznytsia” on the fact of accepting improper benefits in the amount of almost UAH 4 million.

According to investigators, head of Department of property and land resources of the “Ukrzaliznytsia” together with the Deputy of the legal Department agreed to the proposal of the Director of a private firm to UAH 4 million for assistance to lease 9 hectares of land in the territory of the village of Piskivka, Borodyanka district, Kiev region.
