Viatrovych noted that it is proposed to transfer the output from 9 to 8 may. It is also planned to reformat the March 8 International women’s day of struggle for women’s rights, this day is offered to deprive of the status of the output.

According to Vyatrovich also proposed to change the status of may 1, renaming it “International day of solidarity of workers” to “labour day”. At the same time, viatrovych said that the day would remain a holiday.

“We filed this bill for the approval of the Cabinet, but, unfortunately, it is not yet approved, as it received comments from the Ministry of culture,” – said vyatrovich.

He added that if the Cabinet does not approve the project, with the support of people’s deputies, the document will be submitted as parliamentary bill.

“I believe that this is a very important step forward. This is a continuation of de-communization. Because we finally have to stop living in sync with the state-an aggressor “, – said viatrovych.

In April it was reported that the Institute of national remembrance finished public discussion of the draft law on state and other holidays, memorable and mournful dates. Then it was noted that during the discussion received 672 complaints from citizens, parties, organizations, and government agencies.
