The appellate court of Kiev began consideration of the appeal of Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office (SAP) on the measure of restraint in the form of personal obligations defined by the court of first instance to the son of the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs Alexander Avakov.

The Minister’s son suspected of involvement in the embezzlement of about 520 thousand dollars at the time of purchase, the Ministry of internal Affairs of backpacks in 2015. On the case are two men, one of whom is a former Deputy Minister of internal Affairs Sergey Chebotar.
