Delhi. 13 Nov. INTERFAX – at least 19 people were killed and four reported missing in the crash of a river ferry in the South-East of India, reported Monday the newspaper “Hindustan times”.
According to police, a ferry with a crew of three transported 38 passengers on the river Krishna in Andhra Pradesh to participate in religious ceremonies.
It is noted that the ship capsized near the shore. The efforts of the witnesses and intelligence agencies managed to save about 20 people, some of whom were taken to hospital.
