The court released under the personal obligation of the third defendant in the “case of the backpacks”

The Solomensky district court of Kiev chose a measure of restraint to the defendant in the “case of the backpacks” – the head of the IT company Turboseo Volodymyr Lytvyn in the form of personal commitments. Therefore, the court dismissed the petition of SAP about the arrest of Vladimir Litvin, reports the Censor.NO.

The court ordered Lytvyn to wear an electronic bracelet.

Volodymyr Lytvyn was the representative of firm-the winner of the tender of the interior Ministry. In the future, this company was recognized as fictitious.

Litvin declined to comment on the relationship with a fictitious company, as well as friendship with Alexander Avakov.

“I have to agree with the detective that I have the right to comment, so as not to violate the secrecy of the investigation”, – Lytvyn said.

Earlier it was reported that on Wednesday, November 1, Solomensky district court of Kiev chose to the son of interior Minister Alexander Avakov measure in the form of personal commitment. Son of the Minister of interior was also ordered to wear an electronic bracelet, to surrender their passports and to report to law enforcement when necessary. Thus, the court granted the prosecution’s motion in part. In addition, the Solomensky regional court of Kiev rejected the application of Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office and released the ex-Deputy interior Minister Sergey Chebotar under the personal obligation, abandoning his arrest with the alternative of a bail of 5 million UAH.
