Google says it is doubling the warranty of its new flagship smartphones at the root of the complaints about the screens.
Some critics have noted that the “screen burn” – a permanent mark of the images that have appeared earlier – after only a couple of weeks ago with the larger version of this new phone.
The company argued that the effect was “in line with the other smartphones premium” use of OLED screens.
However, he promised software updates to maximize the life of the screen.
“We use a software to safeguard the user experience and maximize the useful life of the OLED display, and we’re going to do continuous updates and upgrades of software to optimize even more,” wrote Mario Queiroz, vice president of product management at Google a message forum.
