The guarantee for the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will now be two years instead of one, he added – despite the fact that in Europe this is already standard.

Google’s previous device, the Pixel, had good reviews, but this represented just 0.5% of the global smartphone market in 2016.

In a separate forum, Google advised the Pixels of the 2 users that said that their device appeared to be “click”, to turn off NFC (near field communication) – used to make contact with the payments – and said that a software solution was being developed.
