NABU stated that Rosenblatt was trying to get over the border on “amber case”

MP Boryslav Rozenblat together with money and jewelry were trying to bring overseas materials relevant to the investigation “amber case”. This was stated by the press service of NABOO.

The investigation alleges that Rosenblatt intended to ship abroad means of communication, related to the “amber case”. They could provide information on the concealment of the traces of earlier committed crimes.

“On 19 October, detectives of the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine prevented the export abroad of the people’s Deputy Borislav Rosenblatt materials that are important to investigate so-called “amber case”, and also secured his participation in the court hearing on the extension of obligations”, – stated in the message.

NABU said that Rosenblat was discovered phones, tablets, jewelry, credit cards, and two passports, including diplomatic.

“During the search conducted in the aircraft, the detectives NAB withdrew from Borislav Rosenblatt mobile phones, tablet PC; products that look like jewelry; payment cards issued by foreign banks; the passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad and a diplomatic passport”, – stated in the message.

As previously reported, the people’s Deputy Borislav Rosenblatt was detained at the airport “Borispol” on Thursday, October 19, while trying to fly to Germany. According to Rosenblatt, he was going to leave the country for three days and notifies the NEB.

In turn, the NEB denied the arrest of the MP, noting that there had been investigations.

As previously reported, on October 17 Rosenblatt removed the electronic bracelet that he wore from August, while under house arrest.

We will remind, Boryslav Rozenblat is involved in the so-called “amber case”. His actions, the PGO sees signs of undue influence and bribery for a total sum of 280 thousand USD. The MP is suspected of receiving improper benefits for the introduction to Parliament of bills and other actions associated with the extraction of amber in the interests of the company-non-resident.
