The mayor of new York announced that in the spring of next year in menu 15 public schools in Brooklyn on Mondays, no meat.
The mayor-Democrat bill de Blasio said that “Mondays without meat” will also be introduced at his residence “Gracie Manson”.
De Blasio made the announcement during a visit to one of the city’s public schools.
“It will be useful to all. The idea is that we are thinking about their own health and the health of our planet,” said the mayor.
Instead of hamburgers, hot dogs and meat products in the school cafeterias will be presented vegetarian dishes, including the rolls on the basis of spinach, vegetarian chili and tofu cuisine.
