New forensic hunt for the gang killer

Ahmad, 40, was killed on the 29th of April last while he was sitting in a bar in Bankstown Central shopping centre. Dramatic CCTV footage shows her killer entirely clad in black running towards Ahmad and start shooting.

Forensic staff will try to create a digital 3D representation of the scene of the crime today.

Detectives from Strike Force Bindon, that was created to investigate the murder, and specialist officers from the Forensic and Technical Support services for Command will scan the laser at the parking lot adjacent to the bar from 7.30.

Stills taken from the dramatic CCTV footage of the moment Walid Ahmad is killed while having coffee with the members, to Bankstown shopping centre.

Walid Ahmad was killed in the month of April 2016.

The laser scan to produce 3D images of the crime scene, which will then be analyzed with other findings, to assist detectives with their inquiries, police said.

The data includes biometric measurements of people captured by closed-circuit video cameras in order to establish a clear trajectory of the shot.
