Iceland has set a record world Championships

Iceland, beating in the final match of qualifying for Kosovo (2:0), out on the 2018 world Cup.

Icelanders with 22 points won the first place in group I, and won the direct ticket to the final of the world Cup.

Thus, Iceland has set a record, becoming the smallest by population country (330,000 inhabitants) ever released for the world Cup.

Earlier this achievement belonged to Trinidad and Tobago, with a population of 1.3 million people.

Recall, Ukraine lost to Croatia and won’t go to the world Cup in Russia.
