Paris Fashion Week has seen stars on the red carpet – and the public – as the designers reveal their latest collections. But it is a shoe that has everyone talking. The designer of the platform of Crocs, anyone?

Looking the spitting image of her mother Cindy Crawford, Kaia Gerber walked down the catwalk of Saint Laurent show at the start of the Fashion Week of Paris.

The 16-years of age, also appeared in the parade of Valentino – with his mom, dad and brother in the hand for support – and at Isabel Marant.

Another star on the catwalk was US model Gigi Hadid, who walked down the runway of Isabel Marant this upper part of the shoulder, along with studded pants.

Gigi is revealed that it was a “big fan” of the designer.

L’oreal first fashion show in Paris caused a great stir in the avenue of the Champs-Elysées, grabbing the headlines as it was praised for its diversity and inclusion.

Dame Helen Mirren, Cheryl Tweedy, and Jane Fonda appeared, along with models Irina Shayk, Doutzen Kroes, Luma Grothe and Maria Borges.

Cheryl wore a black-and-white checked jacket, teamed with matching boots and a tight black skirt, plus a pass of the color purple and the red lipstick.

Dame Helen took to the catwalk too, to support them with a cane, while Jane Fonda rocked an animal-print dress and the choker of diamonds.

The actress was in high spirits, and stopped to say hello to Naomi Campbell, who was in the first row.

There were a lot of other stars in the front row of Paris.

Seeing Clare Waight Keller’s debut collection for Givenchy were Lily Collins, Isabelle Adjani, Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Julianne Moore, Pedro Almodovar and Fan Bingbing – who all seem to have got the monochrome memo.

Moore and Blanchett returned for the Louis Vuitton show – this time accompanied by Ruth Negga, Michelle Williams, and Alicia Vikander.

The Givenchy show was one of the most anticipated of the fashion-wise – and it’s not just black and white on the runway, as shown in this bright blue dress. Vogue called it “fresh and desirable”.

Singers Ellie Goulding and Kylie Minogue joined Alexa Chung on the front row of Stella McCartney.

This is the Stella McCartney show they were seeing. Camera phones were, obviously, an essential accessory for the hearing.

One of the points that drew gasps from the audience was the arrival of the platform, Crocs, seen on the runway during the Balenciaga show.

You will be asked a lot of debate in the media with Vogue to write an article asking who would.

But finally it was decided that the much maligned shoe had “never been great. Up to now”.
