The U.S. Senate approved the candidacy of Jon Huntsman as Ambassador to Russia on September 28.
The huntsman is the head of the Atlantic Council, he also heads the Foundation for the fight against cancer. He previously held the posts of Ambassador to China and Singapore, was assistant Deputy Minister of trade of the USA for East Asia and the Pacific.
