The Rapper 50 Cent has declared that Donald Trump team has offered $500,000 to make an appearance on Trump’s presidential campaign.
The musician and actor was discussing the Trump administration on US radio station Hot 97 when he mentioned the president’s proposal, adding that he believed was motivated by a desire to appeal to black voters.
â€œFirst got elected, they were having problems with the African American vote,â€ said the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson. â€œThey wanted to pay $ 500,000 as part of a campaign to make an appearance.â€ Jackson has revealed that he declined the offer, as it would have stained his reputation. â€œI was like, â€˜No, it is not a good price, â€™â€ he said. â€œThat was not worth it!â€
It is not the first time that Jackson has publicly defended the president this week. The rapper has also shared his thoughts on Trump on US chatshow The View on Monday, the conclusion of â€œwe gotta get rid of himâ€.
Jackson, whose sixth studio album Street King Immortal has been delayed since 2011, is currently enjoying success with thriller, of a Power, which he produces and stars as a drug dealer, Kanan Stark. Aired on Netflix in the uk, as of May, the show was the second most-watched series on premium cable in the US behind Game of Thrones.
