President Petro Poroshenko said that if Russia will veto the decision of the UN security Council on the introduction of peacekeeping forces in Donbas, Kyiv will appeal to the international court of justice.
Russia can not participate in peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, said President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said in an interview with canadian TV channel CBC.

“It is highly unlikely that Russia was involved in the peacekeeping mission, because Russia is a party to the conflict”, â€” said Poroshenko.
The President said that Russia’s proposal on the introduction of the peacekeeping mission in the Donbas is unacceptable, because “Russia wants to use the peacekeepers as guards for observers special monitoring mission of the OSCE.”
He added that if Russia will veto a UN security Council decision on the introduction of peacekeeping forces in the Donbass, Ukraine will appeal to international court of justice.
Poroshenko also called “very important” to Canada was part of a possible UN peacekeeping mission in Ukraine to help end the armed conflict in the country.

The permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko, in turn, said that Ukraine, if necessary, to make its draft resolution on the peacekeepers in the Donbass, either side will work on the basis of the Russian draft, subject to adjustments to take account of the position of Kiev. According to him, Kyiv insists that the mandate of the mission should be broader and not touch the security of the SMM, the OSCE and the peacekeepers should be offered up to the border with Russia.
