Khanty-Mansiysk. September 20. INTERFAX – city court of Surgut (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug) has fined a local clergyman on 1 thousand roubles for disobedience to the police officer who apprehended him for driving while drunk.

“The evening of 17 September, the police stopped the car driven by the man, who had signs of intoxication. In the paperwork it has had a disobedience to the police. During the trial, the man admitted the offence and was remorseful,” – said “Interfax” the Surgut city court responsible for working with the media, the assistant referee Diana Andreeva.

Earlier media has published video footage of the detention of a man who rudely expressed, and trying to resist the police. The authors of the movie claim that the citizen is a priest in Surgut.

At the same time, according to local media reports, the detainee had previously been deprived of driver’s license, allegedly for driving drunk.
